Sometimes, a straightforward task is the only assistance needed.
A century-old nonprofit organization in Baltimore had file cabinets of paper documents holding significant corporate historical information. We took our portable scanning equipment into their offices, and made digital backup copies of the documents.
We scanned letter sized paper, legal sized paper, index cards, outsized and color-coded documents. We carefully removed staples from onion skin paper, scanned the multiple-page typewritten documents, stapled and refiled the documents into the file cabinets. The organization's irreplaceable documents never left their offices, and at the end, they had a digital backup for archiving and for disaster preparedness.
We helped the organization preserve their own corporate history.
